Playing with Chromium OS
Got hold of a copy of the new ChromeOS / Chromium OS from Google, which they will be releasing next year. Seems quite cool, had to fiddle around a load with the settings in KVM in Fedora 12, which is what I was using to boot the virtual machine. Couldn't really play with all the features, as it's still a dev build and requires a @google.com account, which I don't have, as I'm not lucky enough to work for the mothership. The tcpdump on the left was monitoring the bridge, to see exactly what it was up to... interesting they have the ntp server for chromium setup to Canonical, so I wonder if it's based on ubuntu.
Lewes 2009
Every year, Lewis in Sussex, put on a massive bonfire night. They have 7 different bonfire societies, who each put on different demonstrations, burning different effigies (including the pope)...etc They seem a bit (actually very) unwelcoming to people outside Lewes visiting to enjoy the night with them, which from speaking with friends, is the first year they have been like it. It's a great shame that it has to be like that, and I probably wouldn't go back as a result of it, however it was a great night anyways.

"Chord" At Kingsway Tram Tunnel
Disused tram tunnel, which has is usually closed to the public, was opened for a month long art installation "Chord". I didn't know until I had been, that the maps/signs in there were actually not original, and used put htere for the filming of The Escapist, so the signs show "Union Street".

I'm a Photographer, NOT a Terrorist
Paulmonkeypaul and I went along to a flash mob, at 3pm by the Clocks at Canary Wharf. A kind of protest against the rules, that are killing the art of photography. Especially in pseudo-public places, such as Canary Wharf, where photography is prohibited.
London 12/09/09
Day and Night out in London - Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Bricklane, SoHo & Bermondsey.
Safend Wednesday
Quick visit to the seaside... Safend (Southend-on-Sea)... I'm now a tourist there =]
Landhan
A day out in London, looking around St Pauls (no pictures inside) and getting lost on a Starbucks crawl
Another new toy
I really want to get a fish-eye lens, but don't really have the pennies for it at the moment. I also would really like a wide angle lens, and a macro... again no pennies. Was drawn to a lens on eBay, that can do all three, no? must be crap. Well it's not great, but still lots of fun. These are a few from the last couple of days, of playing, with it in 'fish-eye' mode.
Metronomy @ KOKO
Didn't get many shots, as there was a ban on photography... wtf? but anyways managed to sneak a few, but most were blurred.
Playing with my D60
Just gone into the world of DSLR's, with a D60.. Just a few out the box test shots.
Camera Comparison
Was out the other day in Old Leigh-on-Sea, and thought I would test what each of the camera's in my bag would look like compared against each other. 2x Cameras (D60 & FE330) and two phones (iPhone & TyTN).
